To my sisters.

 

Father God, 

You are my Rock and Redeemer.  My heart is overwhelmed by Your goodness to me...

Tonight, I lift up my sisters to you... God, I pray that you touch their hearts at this moment. For those who are lonely, God, I pray that you will fill their hearts with the joy of salvation again. For those who are bitter and angry, God, I pray for forgiveness, as you have forgiven us. For those who are sad and heartbroken, God, I pray for Your loving comfort and restoration. For those who are far from You, God, draw close to them and lead them back to You again. For those who are near to Your heart, God, I pray that you protect them from the enemy who will try to lead them astray. 

Lord, make my sisters into vessels for Your Kingdom. May they be women of God who will live radical lives for Your glory. Who will not adorn themselves with jewels and outwardly things, but that they will clothe themselves with a servant-heart who will lay their lives down for others. Who will live not by what others say or by their deceitful hearts, but live by the Word of God. Who will be able to discern Your truth from the world's lies. Fill them with compassion, gentleness, and selflessness. Rid all jealousy, rid all selfishness, rid all insecurities. Open and search their hearts and allow them to know their source of joy in this life is in You alone. 

Give us strength to fight for joy, to fight for the truth of the Gospel. There's no turning back.
