Reflection.

It's that time of year again --  the end of it. Reminiscing on the last twelve months, what a whirlwind. Definitely one of the more trying times of my life, so easily drawn away from Christ. But through the midst of my faithlessness and weakness, He draws and brings me back without conditions.

It's a new year, and so I'm rededicating this verse to my life: "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths" Proverbs 3:5-6. May my heart be pure and submissive to Your will. Not ridden with and chained to guilt, but free and fearless in Christ. Grow my trust in You, help me to cling to Your Word.

2011 is also the year that I will read through the Bible in chronological order. I've started many times, but failed every time. But I'm going to try again. Someone told me that the wise learn from the past, but the wiser learn from the Bible. So here we go :)

Goodbye twenty-ten, and hello twenty-eleven.

Thank You for the life,
Thank You for the truth,
Thank You for the way...
Words are not enough to tell You of our love - so listen to our hearts.
